Native New Yorker, Gina Marie Picciotto found her passion as a Hair Artist in NYC in the mid 2000's.  She acquired her specialty with natural hair coloring after training under Master colorist Louis Licari, inheriting the philosophy of enhancing natural beauty. There she was involved with numerous celebrity clientele, TV makeover segments and extensive color corrections.  She then found her way downtown to the eccentric "old New York" in the Chelsea Hotel, working with Master hairstylist April Barton. There she was introduced to an expressive platform for artists to discover themselves creatively and artistically.  Gina Marie then found her way in the high fashion and beauty industry, where she instantly found inspiration.

Currently, Gina Marie works at Woon Salon in LES, NYC under the direction of Owner and Master hairstylist, as well as Ikebana artist: Kevin Woon, previously from Oribe Salon. She continues to thrive as a Hair stylist in the hair, fashion and music industry as well as maintaining her salon clientele.  She also continually works under the direction of Master-guru Hairstylist: Katsumi Matsuo, specializing in fashion editorial & beauty shoots.
