Native New Yorker, Gina Marie Picciotto found her passion as a Hair Artist in NYC in the mid 2000's. She acquired her specialty with natural hair coloring after training under Master celebrity colorist Louis Licari. His philosophy of enhancing natural beauty involved her with numerous celebrity clientele, makeover segments such as LXTV makeovers and extensive color corrections. She then found her way downtown to the eccentric "old New York" in the Chelsea Hotel, working with Master hairstylist April Barton. There she was introduced to an expressive platform for artists to discover themselves creatively and artistically. After working under the direction of April Barton on numerous photo shoots, Gina Marie discovered that working on set was one of her ultimate passions as an artist.
Gina Marie continues to thrive working in the hair, fashion and music industry, building her brand with editorial hair styling, and creative directing as well as maintaining her salon clientele. She also continually works under the direction of Master-guru Hairstylists: Katsumi Matsuo and Kevin Woon, specializing in fashion editorial & beauty shoots. Other Master Hairstylists Gina Marie has collaborated with are Miok, John Ruidant, Fred Vandebunt, Liam Dunn and Louis Angelo.
